Abstract

    The study aimed to examine the effect of Digital Health Service Quality-represented by its five dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, security, and empathy)-on Organizational Performance of public hospitals in Latakia and Tartous. The research adopted a survey approach, and data were collected from a sample of 386 valid questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SPSS (version 26).

   The results revealed that the level of digital health service quality in public hospitals was low across all dimensions. Moreover, there was a positive and significant correlation between each dimension of digital service quality and organizational performance. The multiple regression analysis showed that the five dimensions of digital service quality collectively have a positive effect on organizational performance, with responsiveness being the most influential dimension, followed by reliability and tangibility.

   The study concluded that comprehensive improvement in the dimensions of digital service quality contributes to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare organizations. It recommended developing the digital infrastructure, activating continuous technical support systems, promoting a culture of information security, and providing training for medical and administrative staff on the optimal use of digital technologies to ensure sustainable organizational performance and high-quality healthcare service
