Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between existential intelligence and the level of ambition among a sample of psychological counseling students/third year in the College of Education at the University of Tartous, and Identifying the level of existential intelligence and ambition among the sample members, as well as identifying the possibility of predicting the level of ambition through the level of existential intelligence among the sample members. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, and its sample consisted of 78 male and female psychological counseling students in the College of Education at the University of Tartous. In this study, the researcher used two scales: the Existential Intelligence Scale by Alobaidy (2016), which consists of (31) statements designed according to a five-point Likert scale, and the Ambition Level Scale by Aljaboury (2002), which consists of (44) items for each. Four answers.

The results showed a strong correlation between existential intelligence and the level of ambition among the study sample members. The level of existential intelligence among the sample members was moderate while the level of ambition was high. The results also showed that it is possible to predict the level of ambition through existential intelligence among the individuals of this sample.
