This research attempts to shed light on the images of the Family in the ostrich scene in Umayyad poetry, we find artistic painting showing the male and female ostriches in a state of friendliness, intimacy and compassion, these emotions are almost similar to human emotions and actions of love, tenderness, protection, and the distribution of tasks in incubating eggs.
The Umayyad poets were distinguished by their delicate sense, which enabled them to perceive, depict, and express the feelings of birds. The images of the ostrich family reflected the poet's psychology and personal vision.
Through these poetic paintings, he was able to inform us of his thoughts and vision and express his feelings toward the family, caring, motherhood, gentle childhood, and building the Arab home by projecting his inner feelings onto these birds. He is in need of kindness and compassion and wishes that it would prevail in human relations.
Ostriches are characterized by their tranquility, free from enemies, and a peaceful life filled with security and stability, and a sense of the warmth and radiance of life.
