Abstract

 

The research aimed to study the methods of purposeful family education and their relationship to female attitudes towards early marriage. To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach and the social survey method were used. The research sample consisted of (60) female students from Adnan Jaloud Secondary School in Lattakia. The research tools were applied to them, which consisted of a scale of purposeful family education methods and a scale of attitudes towards early marriage, both prepared by the researcher. After transcribing the data using the SPSS program and using appropriate statistical methods, a set of results were reached, the most important of which are: the attitudes of the research sample members towards early marriage are neutral. It also became clear that the purposeful family education methods used by the families of the research sample members were high. The results also showed a correlation between positive education methods and female attitudes towards early marriage among the research sample members, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research sample members on the early marriage scale according to the variables (type of study, family income), while it became clear that there were differences according to the variable of the educational level of the parents. At the end of the research, a set of proposals were presented that might raise the level of family education methods. Purposeful, and reduces female tendencies towards early marriage.
