The study aimed to identify the level of creative thinking, with its three skills (fluency, flexibility, and originality), among sixth-grade students in Tartous, and to identify differences in the level of creative thinking according to sex. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, Word Form (A). The sample consisted of (112) male and female students, (53) males and (59) females. They were randomly stratified selected from several public schools in the city of Tartous. The results revealed a low level of creative thinking among sixth-grade students in the city. The average scores were as follows: overall creativity (107.48), fluency (57.24), flexibility (28.36), and originality (21.88). The results also showed no statistically significant differences in the level of creative Thinking and any of the creative thinking skills (fluency, flexibility, originality) attributable to sex
