Abstract

The research aimed to identify the role of work ethics, with its dimensions (respect for laws and regulations, mastery, integrity, and responsibility), in improving the internal work environment in Private insurance companies operating on the Syrian coast. The researcher relied on a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data from the research community. A questionnaire was distributed to (154) employees in the companies under study. The number of returned, valid, and transcribed questionnaires was (149). The researcher also adopted a descriptive analytical approach. The research demonstrated a strong, statistically significant, direct correlation between the dimensions of work ethics and improving the internal work environment in the companies under study.
