This study examines the relationship between the economic and environmental Kuznets curves within the context of globalization and digital transformation, with a particular focus on developing countries facing structural and developmental challenges that impact the sustainability of growth. The research employs a nonlinear panel data model, analyzing data from a sample of seven developing countries over the period 2015–2024. The findings indicate that digital transformation and globalization contribute to reshaping the traditional structure of both curves. Government policies and investment in clean technologies emerge as critical factors in achieving a balanced approach between economic growth and environmental preservation. The study underscores the necessity and importance of integrating economic and environmental policies in response to accelerating global transformations, in order to ensure a more sustainable and equitable development trajectory.
