Abstract

The research aimed to evaluate and analyze the tourist attractions in the Al-Qadmus region with the goal of stimulating tourist activity. The study focused on identifying natural attractions (such as climate, topography, water resources, vegetation, wildlife, and villages) and assessing tourists' perception of their influence on their decision to visit. It also sought to analyze the relationship between these elements and the stimulation of tourist movement, and to propose practical recommendations to enhance their role in achieving sustainable tourism development in the region.

The research adopted a descriptive approach. The study population included all tourists who visited the Al-Qadmus region to enjoy its natural tourism components in the summer of 2024. The researcher surveyed the opinions of 200 tourists using a questionnaire on the role of natural attractions in stimulating tourist activity in the Al-Qadmus region. Out of these, 189 complete and valid questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis, yielding a response rate of 94.5%.

The study's findings revealed that the natural attractions in the Al-Qadmus region, such as climate, water resources, topography, and vegetation, form a fundamental and strong pillar for attracting tourists, meeting and exceeding their expectations, with significant contributions from the surrounding villages. The results also showed a very strong positive correlation between these natural elements and the stimulation of tourist activity in the Al-Qadmus region.
