The right to movement is one of the fundamental human rights, and each country sets legal controls that regulate the movement of individuals from one country to another. However, by the end of the nineties of the last century, the phenomenon of illegal immigration has spread. It is individuals leaving their country for other countries illegally, such as by sneaking across borders or carrying forged travel documents. They become illegal immigrants and are exposed, during their transit or in the country of destination, to violations of their basic rights, approved by human rights conventions, and stipulated in some non-specific agreements such as the Convention. The rights of migrant workers and members of their families, Therefore, international efforts have been intensified at the international and regional levels to confront this phenomenon, resulting in multiple agreements, including the International Convention against All Kinds of Crimes, and its annex the Protocol to Combat Smuggling of Persons by Land, Sea and Air. In this regard, the problem of the extent to which illegal immigrants enjoy basic human rights is raised, at a time when working In which countries must combat the phenomenon of illegal immigration in order to preserve their security and stability.
