أثر واردات المشتقات النفطية على معدل نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في سورية 1974-2010م

Abstract

The main focus of this study is about Syria having Avery strategic economic resource crude oil for many decades but the Syrian economy did not achieve high rates of economic growth compared with other countries, because the external trade in refined oil products is very profitable and provide foreign currency income, we studied the impact of external trade in refined oil products on economic growth in Syria using analysis method to study the oil refining sector and consumption of refined oil products 1980-2010, we found big shortage in producing refined oil products and importing large amounts of it, the we did statistical model using multi regression  method to study the impact of exports and imports of  refined oil products on economic growth then we found negative effect of importing refined oil products on economic growth in syria
