Al-Tutili’s poetrywas able to transform his imaginary images from sensory reality to sensory perception, relying on artistic means such as diagnosis, anthropomorphism, and embodiment. The presence of colors in his poetry had an effective contribution to the occasion of the text, shaping its meanings, and revealing his psychological state. The association of light and darkness in his light images seemed to be a necessity of his psychological nature, a mixture of contradictions, and the exchange of sensory data in his poetry showed the effect of the sensory element in shaping his images, and it also showed the blind poet's desire to deepen the sense of the sensory thing. The research aims to identify the components of the visual image in Al-Tatili's poetry, using stylistic analysis tools that are based on linking the expressive and emotional functions in the stylistic structure of literary discourse.
