Abstract

The significance of grammatical formations is the basic guide to linguistic significance. The grammatical formation is the result of the relationships that exist between words in a sentence, whether apparent or hidden. This leads us to deducing meaning from the context and the word’s connection to other words.

The research studies Abu Al-Atahiya's adaptation of the grammatical formations of the active participle in his collection, providing a group of poetic evidence and examining the significance of the grammatical formation of the active participle in it.
