Abstract

Critical aesthetic judgments vary according to the differences in human aesthetic awareness throughout the ages. However, what is certain is that certain texts have been able to withstand the challenges of time, as they contain a number of artistic elements that give the text aesthetic dimensions that provide it with reasons for acceptance and the ability to influence.

The research presents the concept of beauty in human thought throughout history, starting from Greek philosophical thought, all the way to modern Arab critical thought, passing through Arab Islamic thought and Western philosophical thought.
