حضور المرأة في شعر الهُذَليِّين

Abstract

      This research addresses the image of women in the poetry of Al- Huthaliyyin. I studied their presence through themes such  as: love, departure, memories and the visiting of the apparition. Al- Huthaliyyin poets expressed admiration for women,  revealing their feelings of love , describing them as pearls, gazelles, and other symbols, often relying on nature in their depictions to illustrate beauty.                         They also discussed her departure with her tribe. When she leaves, the sense of lifes joy and stability departs with her. Her departure is linked to the desertic nature of life. When water sources dry up ,and life in a place becomes impossible, they move in serach of fertile, suitabl land to live.                                                                    Memories serve as the poets means of survival in a difficult reality.                          Remembering the women gives him the ability to                                               face hardships endure, and maintain balance. Sometimes recollection can be negative, when meeting her becomes impossible. Her apparition is also present the visitation of the apparition emphasizes the presence of the women, and confirms her importance. This visiting apparition can disturb the poet at night .When an actual meeting is impossible the presence of the apparition can also be positive, granting the poet moments of union that delight the soul and strengthen him. It also opens a space for lamenting the effects of time, such as poverty changing circumstances and the transformation of people in their behavior.
