ررThe aim of the research was to study the relationship between positive parenting and social communication skills among children. To achieve this goal, the descriptive analytical approach was used, the social survey method with a sample, using the positive parenting scale and the social communication skills scale, which were prepared by the researcher, and applied to a sample of students from Maimoun Hamoudi School in Lattakia city. The sample size was (256) male and female students. After transcribing the data and using appropriate statistical methods based on the SPSS program, a set of results was reached, the most important of which was that the level of positive parenting among the members of the research sample was high, and the level of communication skills among the children was also high. It was also found that there was a positive and strong statistically significant correlation between positive parenting and the level of social communication skills among children. It was also found that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the social communication skills scale according to the variable of the educational level of the parents in favor of the higher levels, as well as differences in favor of the parents who followed special education courses, while there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the communication skills scale according to the variables of family income and the social status of the parents. At the end of the research, a set of proposals were presented that would enhance the family’s adherence to positive parenting and raise the level of social communication skills among children
