The aim of the research was to identify the dimensions of psychological capital among university students from their point of view through a field study on a sample of third-year students in the Department of Psychological Counseling at the Faculty of education at Tartous University, and to reveal the difference in the study variable according to the type of secondary certificate (literary/scientific). The descriptive approach was used, and the research sample consisted of (113) male and female students from the third year students in the Department of Psychological Counseling at the Faculty of Education at Tartous University for the academic year 2023/2024. The Psychological Capital Scale (Al-Zeer, 2017) was applied to them. The research reached the following results: University students have a high level of psychological capital, as the mean value reached (3.7430) with a standard deviation (.58635). All dimensions of psychological capital came at a high level among university students, and the dimension of emotional balance came in first place, while The flexibility dimension came in last place, and the results of the study showed statistically significant differences in the level of psychological capital attributed to the secondary school certificate variable in favor of the scientific specialization.
