Abstract

The elegy is expressing the pain of every soul filled with sorrow over the loss of loved one. It stems from bitter experience, deep sorrow and pain that intensifies with prolonged and distance. 

The elegies of Badwi al-Jabal are considered among the most prominent elegies of the modern era.

Badwi al-Jabal is the one who eulogized relatives, loved ones, leaders and places, but the hero Ibrahim Hananu received the lion's share of Badwi al-Jabal's elegies.

Therefore, the research chose to study this emotional value. Therefore, the research begane by examining the concept of elegy in Arabic poetry. Then the elegies of Badawi Al-Jabal, end with the main idea of the research which is Ebrahim Hanano in the elegies of Badawi Aljabal
