Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the degree of application of talent management strategies by primary school principals (second cycle) in Lattakia city, represented by (talent planning, attracting and recruiting talents, developing and improving talents, retaining talents, succession and job replacement, managing and evaluating talent performance).

The research relied on the descriptive approach, and the research community included all the principals of primary schools (second cycle) in the city of Lattakia, numbering (40) male and female principals. Due to the small size of the research community, the comprehensive enumeration method was adopted as a method for collecting data, so that the research community would be the basic research sample, but after excluding (10) principals to form the exploratory research sample.

The research results showed that the degree of application of talent management strategies among the research sample members was generally high. The talent retention strategy came in first place, followed by the talent attraction and recruitment strategy in second place, followed by the talent performance management and evaluation strategy in third place, followed by the talent development and advancement strategy in fourth place, followed by the talent planning strategy in fifth place, followed by the succession and job replacement strategy in sixth and last place.
