Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the level of psychological security among students of the Faculties of Human Medicine and Arts, and to identify the differences in psychological security among the individuals of the research sample according to the variable of academic specialization and gender. The descriptive analytical approach was relied upon, and the research sample consisted of (359) male and female students. The psychological security scale of (Marai 2023) was used, and the study concluded with the following results:

1. The research sample members had an average level of psychological security (2.83), with the love and acceptance dimension ranking first with an average of (2.99), personal and social compatibility ranking second with an average of (2.89), and psychological reassurance ranking third with an average of (2.63).
2. There were no differences in Psycological Security based on academic specialization and gender among the research sample members.
