Abstract

A leader needs several skills to effectively coordinate and manage teamwork, implement plans, and achieve goals. This study aimed to identify the level of team leadership skills among head nurses at Tartous National Hospital from their perspective. Using a descriptive methodology, data was collected from a sample of 41 head nurses working at the hospital. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of 38 items distributed across four skills: decision-making, communication, motivation, and conflict management. The results showed that the level of team management skills among the head nurses was considered middle. The study recommended focusing on developing leadership skills among head nurses by providing training courses and seminars related to leadership skills, particularly team leadership.
