This study was conducted in the Safita area of Tartous Governorate in the 2025 growing season with the aim of improving the productivity and quality of Virginia tobacco (VK51 variety) using sea algae extract (SeaWinner ALGA 21) as a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers. Four paper spray treatments were applied: control (T0) with water only, and three concentrations of extract (: T1 1.5 g/L, T2:2.5 g/L, T34 g/L) over three replicates, with three sprays applied during the growing season. The results showed a significant superiority of the extract in all indications compared to the control. In the low concentration (T1), the plant height increased by 9 cm and the leaf area increased , while the medium concentration (T2) achieved a productivity of up to 150 kg/dunum of dry leaves. As for the highest concentration (T3), the highest values were recorded: plant height of 124 cm, leaf area of 34637 cm², and photosynthetic rate of 0.9 mg/cm²/day, which was reflected in the dry leaf yield, which reached 166 kg/dunum.
